اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ حَيٌّ لَا تَمُوتُ وَ خَالِقٌ لَا تُغْلَبُ وَ بَدِيءٌ لَا تَنْفَدُ وَ قَرِيبٌ لَا تَبْعُدُ وَ قَادِرٌ لَا تُضَادُّ وَ غَافِرُ لَا تَظْلِمُ وَ صَمَدٌ لَا تَطْعَمُ وَ قَيُّومُ لَا تَنَامُ وَ عَالِمٌ لَا تُعَلَّمُ وَ قَوِيٌّ لَا تَضْعُفُ وَ عَظِيمٌ لَا تُوصَفُ وَ وَفِيُّ لَا تُخْلِفُ وَ غَنِيٌّ لَا تَفْتَقِرُ وَ حَكِيمٌ لَا تَجُورُ وَ مَنِيعٌ لَا تُقْهَرُ وَ مَعْرُوفٌ لَا تُنْكَرُ وَ وَكِيلٌ لَا تَخْفَى وَ غَالِبٌ لَا تُغْلَبُ وَ فَرْدٌ لَا تَسْتَشِيرُ وَ وَهَّابٌ لَا تَمَلُّ وَ سَرِيعٌ لَا تَذْهَلُ وَ جَوَادٌ لَا تَبْخَلُ وَ عَزِيزٌ لَا تَذِلُّ وَ حَافِظٌ لَا تَغْفُلُ وَ قَائِمٌ لَا تَزُولُ وَ مُحْتَجِبٌ لَا تُرَى وَ دَائِمٌ لَا تَفْنَى وَ بَاقٍ لَا تَبْلَى وَ وَاحِدٌ لَا تَشْتَبِهُ وَ مُقْتَدِرٌ لَا تُنَازَعُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِعِلْمِ الْغَيْبِ عِنْدَكَ وَ قُدْرَتِكَ عَلَى الْخَلْقِ أَجْمَعِينَ أَنْ تُحْيِيَنِي مَا عَلِمْتَ الْحَيَاةَ خَيْراً لِي وَ أَنْ تَتَوَفَّانِي إِذَا كَانَتِ الْوَفَاةُ خَيْراً لِي وَ أَسْأَلُكَ الْخَشْيَةَ فِي الْغَيْبِ وَ الشَّهَادَةِ وَ أَسْأَلُكَ اللَّهُمَّ كَلِمَةَ الْحَقِّ فِي الْغَضَبِ وَ الرِّضَا وَ أَسْأَلُكَ نَعِيماً لَا يَنْفَدُ وَ أَسْأَلُكَ الرِّضَا بَعْدَ الْقَضَاءِ وَ أَسْأَلُكَ بَرْدَ الْعَيْشِ بَعْدَ الْمَوْتِ وَ أَسْأَلُكَ لَذَّةَ النَّظَرِ إِلَى وَجْهِكَ الْكَرِيمِ آمِينَ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِمَنِّكَ الْكَرِيمِ وَ فَضْلِكَ الْعَظِيمِ أَنْ تَغْفِرَ لِي وَ تَرْحَمَنِي يَا لَطِيفُ الْطُفْ بِي فِي كُلِّ مَا تُحِبُّ وَ تَرْضَى اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ فِعْلَ الْخَيْرَاتِ وَ تَرْكَ الْمُنْكَرَاتِ وَ حُبَّ الْمَسَاكِينِ وَ مُخَالَطَةَ الصَّالِحِينَ وَ أَنْ تَغْفِرَ لِي وَ تَرْحَمَنِي وَ إِذَا أَرَدْتَ بِقَوْمٍ فِتْنَةً فَقِنِي غَيْرَ مَفْتُونٍ وَ أَسْأَلُكَ حُبَّكَ وَ حُبَّ مَنْ يُحِبُّكَ وَ حُبَّ كُلِّ عَمَلٍ يُقَرِّبُنِي إِلَى حُبِّكَ اللَّهُمَّ بِحَقِّ مُحَمَّدٍ (صلّى اللّه عليه و آله) حَبِيبِكَ وَ بِحَقِّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ خَلِيلِكَ وَ صَفِيِّكَ وَ بِحَقِّ مُوسَى كَلِيمِكَ وَ بِحَقِّ عِيسَى رُوحِكَ وَ أَسْأَلُكَ بِصُحُفِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَ تَوْرَاةِ مُوسَى وَ إِنْجِيلِ عِيسَى وَ زَبُورِ دَاوُدَ وَ فُرْقَانِ مُحَمَّدٍ (صلّى اللّه عليه و آله) وَ أَسْأَلُكَ بِكُلِّ وَحْيٍ أَوْحَيْتَهُ وَ بِحَقِّ كُلِّ قَضَاءٍ قَضَيْتَهُ وَ بِكُلِّ سَائِلٍ أَعْطَيْتَهُ وَ أَسْأَلُكَ بِكُلِّ اسْمٍ أَنْزَلْتَهُ فِي كِتَابِكَ وَ أَسْأَلُكَ بِأَسْمَائِكَ الَّتِي اسْتَقَلَّ بِهَا عَرْشُكَ وَ أَسْأَلُكَ بِأَسْمَائِكَ الَّتِي وَضَعْتَهَا عَلَى النَّارِ فَاسْتَنَارَتْ وَ أَسْأَلُكَ بِأَسْمَائِكَ الَّتِي وَضَعْتَهَا عَلَى اللَّيْلِ فَأَظْلَمَ وَ أَسْأَلُكَ بِأَسْمَائِكَ الَّتِي وَضَعْتَهَا عَلَى النَّهَارِ فَأَضَاءَ وَ أَسْأَلُكَ بِأَسْمَائِكَ الَّتِي وَضَعْتَهَا عَلَى الْأَرْضِ فَاسْتَقَرَّتْ وَ أَسْأَلُكَ بِاسْمِكَ الْأَحَدِ الصَّمَدِ الَّذِي مَلَأَ أَرْكَانَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَ أَسْأَلُكَ بِاسْمِكَ الطُّهْرِ الطَّاهِرِ الْمُبَارَكِ الْحَيِّ الْقَيُّومِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الرَّحْمَنُ الرَّحِيمِ وَ أَسْأَلُكَ بِمَعَاقِدِ الْعِزِّ مِنْ عَرْشِكَ وَ مَبْلَغِ الرَّحْمَةِ مِنْ كِتَابِكَ وَ بِأَسْمَائِكَ الْعِظَامِ وَ جَدِّكَ الْأَعْلَى وَ كَلِمَاتِكَ التَّامَّاتِ أَنْ تَرْزُقَنَا حَفِظَ الْقُرْآنِ وَ الْعَمَلَ بِهِ

O Allah, You are the Living who does not die, the Creator who is not overcome, the Originator who does not perish, the Near who does not become distant, the Powerful who is not opposed, the Forgiver who does not wrong, the Self-Sufficient who does not eat, the Self-Subsisting who does not sleep, the Knower who is not taught, the Strong who does not weaken, the Great who cannot be described, the Faithful who does not break promises, the Rich who is not in need, the Wise who does not oppress, the Invincible who is not conquered, the Known who is not denied, the Guardian from whom nothing is hidden, the Prevailing who is not overcome, the One who does not consult, the Bestower who does not tire, the Swift who is not heedless, the Generous who does not withhold, the Mighty who is not humiliated, the Protector who is not neglectful, the Everlasting who does not cease, the Veiled who is not seen, the Permanent who does not perish, the Remaining who does not decay, the One who has no likeness, and the All-Powerful who is not contested. O Allah, I ask You by Your knowledge of the unseen and Your power over all creation, to grant me life as long as You know life is good for me, and to take my soul when You know death is better for me. I ask You for awe of You in secret and in public. I ask You, O Allah, for the word of truth in anger and in contentment. I ask You for bliss that does not end. I ask You for contentment after Your decree. I ask You for the coolness of life after death. I ask You for the delight of gazing upon Your Noble Countenance. Amen, O Lord of the worlds. O Allah, I ask You by Your generous favor and Your great bounty to forgive me and have mercy on me. O Gentle One, be gentle with me in all that You love and are pleased with. O Allah, I ask You for the doing of good deeds, the abandoning of evil deeds, the love of the poor, and the companionship of the righteous. And that You forgive me and have mercy on me. And when You intend trial for a people, protect me from being tried. I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the love of every deed that draws me near to Your love. O Allah, by the right of Muhammad, Your beloved, and by the right of Abraham, Your intimate friend and chosen one, and by the right of Moses, Your interlocutor, and by the right of Jesus, Your spirit. I ask You by the Scriptures of Abraham, the Torah of Moses, the Gospel of Jesus, the Psalms of David, and the Criterion of Muhammad. I ask You by every revelation You have revealed, by every decree You have decreed, and by every petitioner You have granted. I ask You by every name You have sent down in Your Book. I ask You by Your names by which Your Throne is upheld. I ask You by Your names which You placed upon the fire and it became radiant. I ask You by Your names which You placed upon the night and it became dark. I ask You by Your names which You placed upon the day and it became bright. I ask You by Your names which You placed upon the earth and it became firm. I ask You by Your name, the One, the Eternal, which fills the pillars of all things. I ask You by Your name, the Pure, the Purifying, the Blessed, the Living, the Self-Subsisting -- there is no god but He, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. I ask You by the knots of glory from Your Throne, by the extent of mercy from Your Book, by Your mighty names, Your supreme majesty, and Your perfect words, to grant us the memorization of the Quran and acting upon it.
