اللّهُمَّ انَّكَ أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ لا إِلهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، تَفَضَّلْتَ عَلَيْنا فَهَدَيْتَنا، وَ مَنَنْتَ عَلَيْنا فَعَرَّفْتَنا، وَ احْسَنْتَ إِلَيْنا فَاعَنْتَنا عَلى‌ أَداءِ مَا افْتَرَضْتَ عَلَيْنا مِنْ صِيامِ شَهْرِكَ شَهْرِ رَمَضانَ. فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ بِمَحامِدِكَ كُلِّها عَلى‌ جَمِيعِ نَعْمائِكَ كُلِّها، حَتّى‌ يَنْتَهِيَ الْحَمْدُ الى‌ ما تُحِبُّ وَ تَرْضى‌ وَ هذا آخِرَ يَوْمٍ مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضانَ فَاذا انْقَضى فَاخْتِمْهُ لَنا بِالسَّعادَةِ وَ الرَّحْمَةِ وَ الْمَغْفِرَةِ، وَ الرِّزْقِ الْواسِعِ الْكَثِيرِ الطَّيِّبِ، الَّذِي لا حِسابَ فِيهِ وَ لا عَذابَ عَلَيْهِ، وَ الْبَرَكَةِ وَ الْفَوْزِ بِالْجَنَّةِ، وَ الْعِتْقِ مِنَ النَّارِ، وَ لا تَجْعَلْهُ آخِرَ الْعَهْدِ مِنْهُ، وَ أَهلهُ عَلَيْنا، بِأَفْضَلِ الْخَيْرِ وَ الْبَرَكَةِ[1] وَ السُّرُورِ عَلَيَّ، وَ عَلى‌ أَهْلِي وَ والِدِي وَ ذُرِّيَّتِي يا كَرِيمُ. اللَّهُمَّ هذا شَهْرُ رَمَضانَ الَّذِي انْزَلْتَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنَ هُدىً لِلنَّاسِ وَ بَيِّناتٍ مِنَ الْهُدى‌ وَ الْفُرْقانِ وَ قَدْ تَصَرَّمَ، فَأَعُوذُ بِوَجْهِكَ الْكَرِيمِ أَنْ تَغِيبَ الشَّمْسُ مِنْ هذا الْيَوْمِ، أَوْ يَطْلُعَ الْفَجْرُ مِنْ هذِهِ اللَّيْلَةِ، وَ لَكَ قِبَلِي ذَنْبٌ أَوْ تَبِعَةٌ، تُرِيدُ أَنْ تُعَذِّبَنِي عَلَيْها[2] يَوْمَ أَلْقاكَ. أَيْ مُلَيِّنَ الْحَدِيدِ لِداوُدَ، أَيْ كاشِفَ الْكَرْبِ الْعَظِيمِ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، صَلِّ عَلى‌ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ عَلى‌ أَهْلِ بَيْتِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ هَبْ لِي فَكاكَ رَقَبَتِي مِنَ النَّارِ وَ كُلَّ تَبِعَةٍ وَ ذَنْبٍ لَكَ قِبَلِي، وَ اخْتِمْ لِي بِالرِّضا وَ الْجَنَّةَ. يا اللَّهُ يا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ، صَلِّ عَلى‌ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ عَلى‌ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ الْمُبارَكِينَ الْأَخْيارِ وَ سَلَّمَ تَسْلِيماً.

O Allah, indeed You are the Most Merciful of the merciful; there is no god but You. You bestowed Your grace upon us and guided us, and You favored us and made us know You, and You were gracious to us and aided us in fulfilling what You made obligatory upon us of the fasting of Your month, the month of Ramadan.\n\nSo to You belongs all praise, with all Your praises, for all Your blessings, until praise reaches what You love and are pleased with. And this is the last day of the month of Ramadan, so when it concludes, seal it for us with felicity, mercy, forgiveness, and abundant, plentiful, wholesome sustenance in which there is no reckoning and no punishment, and with blessing, and triumph with Paradise, and liberation from the Fire. And do not make it our last covenant with it and its people, with the best of goodness and blessing and joy upon me, and upon my family, my parents, and my progeny, O Most Generous.\n\nO Allah, this is the month of Ramadan in which You revealed the Quran as a guidance for mankind and as clear proofs of guidance and the criterion, and it has now passed. So I seek refuge in Your noble countenance from the setting of the sun on this day, or the rising of the dawn on this night, while You still hold against me a sin or an offense for which You intend to punish me on the Day I meet You.\n\nO He who softened the iron for David, O He who relieved the great affliction from Job, send blessings upon Muhammad and upon the household of Muhammad, and grant me the release of my neck from the Fire, and every offense and sin You hold against me, and seal my fate with Your pleasure and with Paradise.\n\nO Allah, O Most Merciful of the merciful, send blessings upon Muhammad and upon his blessed, virtuous household, and bestow abundant peace.
